We’re excited for your Savers journey to begin and can’t wait to learn more about you! Use the information on this page to learn about our recruitment process, what to expect, and how to prepare for your interview.

To apply for a role with us, all you have to do is: 

•  Choose the role you want to apply for 
•  Submit your CV and cover letter 
•  Answer a few additional questions 
•  Click submit 

After submitting your online application, our Team will review it and get back to you as soon as they can. If your application is successful, we will then invite you to a first stage telephone interview.

After a successful telephone interview, you will be invited for a face-to-face interview. This will be with a member of management and will consist of some 'getting to know you' questions as well as some in-store exercises or testing. 

If it is a Head Office role, this is for you to get a real insight into working with us! 

If you are successful at the final interview stage, you will receive a call from our Team to confirm your new role and when you will get to join the Savers family. When you come on board with us you will be sent our Onboarding link, this will help you prepare for your first day with us and has useful information and videos. 

Please note, if you are successful for a Sales Assistant or Supervisor role when the Talent Team gets in contact to verbally offer you a role, you will need to provide them with your date of birth.

We want you to do your best at every step of our recruitment process, so here are a few tips you may find useful when applying for a role with us.

Take a look through our careers website and savers.co.uk. Familiarise yourself with who we are, what we do and what we sell. Visit a store - culture is important, can you see yourself working with us? Read the job description. Do you understand the role, can you do it? Will you enjoy it?

Plan your journey and give yourself plenty of time to arrive. Be curious, if you have any questions, make note of them and ask them in your interview. Take the opportunity to interview us.  

Be yourself. Be true to yourself and show us your passion. Remember, at Savers we hire for personality and attitude, not just experience.  

It is very important that when attending a face to face interview you bring along your Right to Work in the UK. If you are unsure on what is and isn't acceptable for a right to work then please click on the link below to see all forms that are accepted.

Just like a face-to-face interview, try to find out as much as you can about the company and the job.

Do your research

Take notes on any questions you want to ask. A phone interview is a really good opportunity to find out more about the role you've applied for, the organisation's culture and opportunities for growth in the company.

In all probability, the recruiter will have a copy of it too, so you may not be asked to describe your background in detail. However, they may open the interview by asking questions about your experience.

This may seem like a bit of a cliché, but according to research, people can hear you smile.

Undoubtedly the most important element to consider. You need to demonstrate your listening skills as much as your knowledge.

Visit a store if you haven't been in one recently. It is great to come to an interview having been in a store beforehand so you understand the brand.

Read the job description

It may seem basic, but check where your meeting is, who it is with and at what time. This will ensure you are more relaxed and prepared, rather than late and flustered.

Check the details

Spend some time thinking about strengths and your past career. Where have you worked? What did you learn from these positions? What areas do you need to develop?

Think about yourself

Body language and how you present yourself makes a big difference at an interview. Dress professionally and demonstrate positive body language throughout the interview.
