Job Purpose

Commercial analysis of all related areas of marketing and promotions for Savers Health and Beauty Ltd.
(part of A.S. Watson Group and CK Hutchison Holdings Limited)

The key purpose of the role is to support the commercial director, senior executive team and buying function with value-adding information and insight to meet business objectives

Key Responsibilities


Promotional Activities
Working closely with the Commercial Director and Commercial team in developing focused, cost-effective promotions using insight derived from data interrogation and analysis of large datasets.

Promotional analysis and reporting which covers, but not limited to promotional site performance, buyer
performance, year-on-year,  sell-through and elasticity/uplift comparisons

Assist setup and running of regular promotions meetings (as appropriate) with a process of challenge and
feedback to gain a thorough understanding of the current commercial environment and ongoing developments

Continual improvement in forecasting models to assist the commercial and supply chain team to optimize promotional purchasing and procurement at the best cost prices

Monitoring and ownership of promotional funding from suppliers for both off-invoice and retrospective
rebates, this includes tracking, reconciling and invoicing



Monitoring and reporting of pricing including compilation of price packs, competitor comparisons and
exception risks/opportunities

Development of price elasticity/uplift models to understand pricing sensitivity


Marketing and Other

Management of marketing accounts covering monthend, forecasting/planning

Commercial performance and cost benefit analysis on marketing initiatives such as leaflets, POS, social
media events, news/media publications, in-store radio and radio/TV

Own weekly and monthly reporting to provide the business and parent company in HK with an
understanding of ongoing marketing/promotional performance.

To identify and deliver developments and improvements in reporting, system use and processes ensuring
they deliver robust business information in an efficient manner.

Support with ad hoc commercial analysis and accounting requirements



qualified with on-going studies
